    Job description
    The Ideal candidates will be flexible to work nighttime 12 hour shifts and overtime as needed. The schedule will be on a 3 days on 3 days off basis. We're looking for candidates that have at least one year of forklift experience.

    Ideal candidates for this position will be a careful forklift operator to move forklifts and change out batteries to be charged. You will be operating a forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety. Your job could involve driving around warehouses, storage spaces and other facilities. You must be a responsible individual with experience in driving industrial vehicles.

    Forklift Operator Responsibilities Include but not limited to:

    Will troubleshoot and perform small minor services to all forklifts at the plant, including changing of the batteries.
    Will use a robotic machine to help change the batteries out.

    Production Operator Bag Division Job Description:
    - Perform continuous inspections of product both visual as well as through the use of rulers and record product and process parameters.
    - Complete all necessary paperwork as required, giving particular attention to product weights and scrap.

    - Keep extrusion lines, equipment, and surrounding areas clean and orderly.
    - Use lifting equipment and fork trucks on a regular basis

    The Machine Operator will be responsible for performing various tasks to set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on assigned machines. The Machine Operator will also be responsible for inspecting parts to specifications and making adjustments, or tool changes as necessary to maintain quality specifications.

    Operators set up and operate a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications and in a timely fashion.

    Operators will rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Work under immediate supervision.

    Responsibilities:

    - Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment

    - Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus

    - Perform necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and operation on multiple pieces of equipment

    - Operate/monitor multiple pieces of equipment during operation to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops

    - Communicate with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials

    - Housekeeping and sanitation

    - Responsible to ensure the machine is operating efficiently while producing product that conforms to quality standards.

    - Effectively setup machine and line equipment

    - Accurately interpret work orders and other instructions required by supervision

    - Complete tasks within the specified time frame accurately and professionally while working independently and/or as a team

    - Responsible for housekeeping of the general area around the machine including sweeping the work area and picking up loose items
